The West Bromwich Albion Indoor Training Ground
Brian Barwick, The FA chief executive officially opened West Brom's impressive indoor training arena in March 2007. It is situated on the Tom Silk Site, opposite The Hawthorns on Halfords Lane, B71 4LF.
The indoor T-Mobile Football Centre measures 105 x 70 metres and far exceeds the minimum requirements the club had to meet to achieve FA Premier Academy status. It houses one of the biggest indoor pitches in the country, featuring "Third Generation Fieldturf."
Feckenham Juniors Under 13's, from Redditch, who play in the Central Warwickshire League will have the chance to play and train on it at the new ground on November the 10th 2007.
The Feckenham manager, Alan Griffiths who recruits for West Brom's Academy said "We have no fixture on the 10th of November so we have been offered the chance to train and play a friendly in the new indoor arena. It's a great chance for the lads to show off their skills as a reward for a great start to the Under 13's season."
If you think you have seen a player worth a WBA trial, locally (IE in Redditch, Studley or Alcester) then call Alan.
