Overhead Crane Personnel Training Courses

Buying an overhead gantry crane is only the start of the owners responsibility. These days your staff need training to cover what is required of them in the safe use of cranes and the do's and don'ts when using potentially dangerous equipment.

On completion delegates are issued a Certificate of Safety Appreciation and Attendance. We also document training records and progressive assessment reports are forwarded to your employer.

A course includes.

Slinging safety appreciation for overhead pendant crane course.

The course is applicable to pendant, radio controlled overhead cranes, single and double girder.

The course last 1 day with a maximum of 5-6 delegates per instructor, usually at your factory.

Comprehensive course manual is issued to each crane trainee delegate.

Learn how to safely and efficiently use overhead cranes, including slinging with various types of crane slings.

On completion of our course you will fully understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers crane components and terminology, operators safety guide, selection inspection and use of slings, demonstration of all controls, signaling procedures, daily checks and routine, emergency procedures and much more.
